Violet was born in St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada on July 28, 1932, the beautiful daughter to Mary (Kew) and Harvey Bushey. She was the loving wife to Edward Lowande whom she married in April 1992. The couple started their 34-year life together in Beverly Hills, FL and built a home in Cape Coral in 1996 so they could be closer to children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sadly, Ed went home to the Lord earlier this year on Saturday, February 28, 2026.
A Visitation for Violet will be conducted from 1:00 -4:00 PM on Sunday, August 30, 2026 and is being hosted inside the Remembrance Event Center at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 950 Chiquita Boulevard S, Cape Coral, Florida 33991, (239) 283-0540.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Violet will be celebrated at 11:00 am the FOLLOWING DAY, Monday August 31, 2026 inside the Chapel at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 2628 Del Prado Boulevard S, Cape Coral, FL 33904, (239) 574-4545. At the conclusion of Mass, family and friends will travel to Coral Ridge Memorial Park and Cremation Gardens where Violet will be laid to rest alongside her dearly departed husband Ed in the Honor II Garden of the Cemetery.
