Ward Anthony Huey, 74, of Cape Coral, FL passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2017 surrounded by his family.
Born January 11, 1943 in Manhattan, NY, Ward was a United States Navy veteran and an avid pool player. He opened Diamond Billiards in Cape Coral and made it the #1 pool hall in America. Diamond Billiards has become an icon in Cape Coral and as Ward liked to say “the place where the pros come to play.”
Ward was preceded in death by his mother Eleanor and his loving wife Janis. He is survived by his father Ward (Louise) Huey; 2 beloved daughters Dawn (Tommy) Foley and Dyan (Anthony) Thompson; 5 cherished grandchildren Devyn, Amanda, Madyson, Kyle, and MaKenna and his dear adoptive daughters Michele DiPiazza and Lisa Healy.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to Ward’s Memorial Fund to help defray final expenses.
