First and foremost, I'd like to start by saying, I have a great deal of respect and honor for the hero this man sounds to have been! In fact, Im writing with quite emotion at this time. I live in Port St Lucie Fl. and just today I found an old style, military issued, soldier's bag that I believe says the name "William E Buck" in a far corner of my attic!! What a character and true Combat Correspondent! Top brought laughter to our lives and helped to mold some exceptional Marines. He was the guy we wanted to be like and I can laugh (now) at some of the assignments he sent me on -- I was set up more than once! Special prayers to your family-- he was one incredible man and Marine.

Thank you for being a great mentor and friend at K-Bay. You'll be greatly missed.
