William G. Pavela, 87, of Cape Coral passed away Monday, July 6, 2015 at his home. Born February 4, 1928 in New York City, Bill served as a PFC in the US Army from 1946-1948 with the 27th Inf. Reg. "Wolfhounds" and the 25th ID "Tropic Lightning". He later in life retired from US Postal Service as a supervisor after 33 years of service. Bill is survived by his wife of 48 years Rosalie; son William (Regeanna) P. and grandson William R. He is preceded in death by his parents John and Johana and sister, Josephine. Family and friends are welcome to celebrate Bills life at Coral Ridge Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1630 SW Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral, FL 33991 on Sunday, July 12th from 1 to 3pm. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, July 13th at 11am at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, 1922 SW 20th St., Cape Coral.
