On September 25, 2015 Winifred E. “Winnie” Edmondson, age 72, of Cape Coral passed away. She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on December 5, 1942 to the late William and Elva Singer. Mrs. Edmondson was a bank teller for many years and was an animal lover. Winnie was a longtime member of Trinity Reformed Church. She moved to Florida in 1976 where she met her husband, James Edmondson. They were married in 1982. James preceded her in death in 1993.
She is survived by a loving Singer family, including her sister, Elva “Sissy” and husband Robert LeBlanc and nephew Robert Arndt, Jr. Surviving in the loving Edmondson family are Ronald and Phyllis Edmonson; her nieces and nephews Julie (Ken) Filippini, Teri (Mike) Lawson and Linda (Chris) Ehlers. She is also survived by 9 great nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
A viewing will be on, Saturday, September 26, 2015 from 11 AM – 12 PM at which time a funeral service will be held. Interment in Coral Ridge Cemetery.
