Wladyslawa "Lottie" Winiarski

Wladyslawa “Lottie” Winiarski (née Wanat) died peacefully in Ft. Myers, FL on January 12, 2017 at the age of 91 years young. Wladyslawa was born on September 24, 1925 in Kalisz, Poland to Walenty and Viktoria Wanat. She married Jan Winiarski in Germany, on November 10, 1945 before arriving at Ellis Island on August 6, 1951.

Wladyslawa is survived by her three daughters, Helen (George) Thier, Donna (Terry) Marchand, Terri (Anthony) Mattera and one son, Richard (Angela) Winiarski. Wladyslawa is also survived by her sister, Janina (Jozef) Glapka and many nieces and nephews in Poland. She is preceded in death by her husband, two sisters and one brother. Grandma Lottie was loved by her nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Her love of gardening and cooking was shared among those who adored her.

A visitation is scheduled on January 19, 2017 from 10:00am until 12:30pm at Coral Ridge Funeral Home 1630 SW Pine Island Rd, Cape Coral, FL 33991. The funeral is scheduled for 1:00pm at St. Katharine Drexel Parish 1922 SW 20th Ave, Cape Coral, FL 33991. Father Steve Clemente will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Lottie’s life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Hope Hospice 2430 Diplomat Pkwy, Cape Coral, FL 33909.
