Irene Balfour

Irene was predeceased by her husband, James Stuart 'Scotty' Balfour, her siblings Arnold, Doris, Marie, Ross and Delvin (in infancy). She is survived by her 4 children, Andrew (Pat) of Kipling, SK and their family, Stuart (Brandi) Balfour, David (Jennifer) Balfour, Jillian (Benn) Armstrong, Richard, Regina, SK, Jeanne, Regina SK & her sons, Ian, Eric (Kat) & great grandson, Liam, Neil, Ajijic Mexico, one sister Elna Moffatt, Regina, SK, two sisters-in-law Verna Abramson, Revelstoke, BC; Marg Koenig, Abbotsford, BC.

Irene was a loving & devoted wife & mother & a doting grandma.She was a tireless community worker & especially enjoyed singing in several choirs as well as gardening & playing bridge. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in the summer of 2011. The family would like to thank all the staff at Moose Mountain Lodge for their loving & professional care while Irene resided there.
