I'm so very sorry to hear of Aldona's passing.  She was a bright spot in my many years living near Carlyle. Her favorite topic was her family!  I will really miss her.

Just now learned of your mom's passing she was loved and respected by all who knew  her and gave honour to the Jarvis family name. She was a true lady.

I was very sorry to hear of the loss of your Mom. It was wonderful to speak with her twice in the last year,once in person and once by phone. We had a nice little talk each time. My memories of her go back over sixty years and they are of an incredible friendly lady who amazed everyone fortunate enough to know her.

So sorry to hear of her passing but what a life and what a strong woman. I remember when she worked at the Co-op and always was smiling. May she rest peacefully...a beautiful sole who was so proud of her family.

Thinking of the Jarvis family as we say goodbye to a genuine soul. Mrs Jarvis was the community grandmother, always smiling and visiting and asking about family! She was a gem!  I am lucky to have known Aldona!    She will be missed!

My early memories are of Aldona's visits to Fort Qu'Appelle to visit her aunt and uncle, Bill and Jean McLeod (my grandparents). She would chase my little brothers around the house trying to catch them to give them each a kiss! I loved those visits, and also when some of the Jarvis clan came with her. I remember our trips to Carlyle. My memory is that Aldona had a smile on her face and in her voice - always! To the Jarvis clan, and to Charlotte, you are all in my thoughts.

When I was a little girl, I remember taking countless trips "uptown" with my gramma and her best friend Aldona, for coffee. I hold those memories close to me... it was like going with my 2 grammas. She always had a smile on her face and a loving demeanor. An amazing lady through and through. My prayers and condolences to the family.

Such a long and well lived life Aldona had.  She will be missed by many. Our condolences to all the Jarvis family.  Thinking of you!

Aldona was a warm and kind lady whom we had the pleasure of meeting during her trips to Ottawa to visit her brother Rod and my mother Charlotte. In recent years, Charlotte always looked forward to her telephone chats with Aldona. I am sure that you are comforted in your loss by many wonderful memories of a lovely lady.

I am sorry to lose such a wonderful sister-in-law. I very much enjoyed Aldona's visits to Ottawa over the years and my visits to Carlyle. Rod loved his sister very much. My condolences to all the family.

Such a full and marvellous life.  She meant so much to so many and will be missed. 
My memories of Carlyle revolve largely around those few year we lived in Regina and it was great to so close to Dad's family.  I treasure the memories of Aunt Aldona's visits down here and the chats we had in my kitchen.  Her wisdom and wit were astounding and will stay with me forever.
