Carlos L Webb

Carlos LaRue Webb, 91 of Indianapolis, passed away October 23, 2018. He was born June 18, 1927 in Greensburg (Decatur County), Indiana to the late Donald and Lottie (Alexander) Webb, where they lived on a farm. Carlos attended Ball State for a year, and then proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War. On the GI Bill, he was able to obtain his drafting degree. He went on to work at Best Lock for 30 years. He and his wife Ruth Ann were active servants of God in the community and East 91st Street Christian Church for over 45 years. They were world travelers, with the Holy Land being their favorite place to visit. His wife preceded him in death, after being married 61 years. They had no children. One could always find him in his beautiful garden, playing tennis, or sitting by the fireplace. Carlos is survived by his sister, Luella Webb (Columbus, IN); cousin, Danny Switzer (Butlerville, IN); friends, Sally Lyday and Nancy Marquart. Viewing will be at East 91st Street Christian Church, 6049 E. 91st St., Indianapolis, IN 46250, on Monday, October 29, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with the service to immediately follow at 1:00 PM. Full military honors will be held at Crown Hill Cemetery. Carlos will rest next to his loving wife Ruth Ann.
