Frances attended Flora Stone Mather College. She was very active as a character host at Conner Prairie for 14 years and volunteered for the American Red Cross. Her passion for birds, wildlife, flowers and trees was a constant topic of good conversation. Her yard was a registered “Certified Wildlife Habitat”. Frances was an equestrian, a master pie baker, and a rescuer of three Golden Retrievers; Maggie Sue, Duke and Shadow.
Regardless of her age, Frances was an engaging conversationalist, she loved to discuss nature, politics, the Colts, and Pacers! She was an avid texter on her iPad, which was her favorite mode of communication with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She remained happily busy in her home and would gladly set a place at the table for anyone who might drop by. But, above all of her interests, family was her number 1 priority. She was always there for family members, in any capacity, all of whom loved her dearly.
Frances is survived by son John Benagh (Tammy); son Stephen Benagh (Julia); and daughter Carolyn Wittmann (John); grandson Jeffrey Ealy (Sarah), grandson Gregory Ealy, grandson Andrew Benagh (Katie), granddaughter Amanda Vinson (Brent), granddaughter Ashlee Mitchell, granddaughter Lauren Benagh, great grandchild Adylynn Newell, great grandchild Kyler Mitchell and great grandchild Tyler Vinson.
