Obituary of Gerald "Gary" Franklin Wiseman
Gerald Franklin "Gary" Wiseman, 59, of Carmel, Indiana, departed this life suddenly on Monday, May 20, 2024 in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. He was born November 22, 1964 at St. Vincent Hospital downtown in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late C. Edwin and Georganna Sue (Eppert) Wiseman. He was a 1984 graduate of Carmel High School and then graduated from Indiana University with a bachelors in geography and a minor in geology. Gary married his beloved wife Kristina on September 28, 1991. He had worked for ATEC environmental company in their lab, Navtec digital mapping information company, CoStar Digital, a commercial real Estate information company as a photographer & associate, M&M Transport as a driver and most recently for Shared Medical Services as a medical assistant and driver of mobile PET scan units to hospitals and clinics in central Indiana. Gary was a kind and gentle soul who valued his faith and family above all other things in life. He was a longtime and dedicated member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus since age 18. He was preceded in death by his father, C. Edwin Wiseman and his grandparents, Anna Eldena Clark Eppert, George Franklin Eppert, Gerald Edwin Wiseman & Opal May Treitsch Wiseman. Gary is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Kristina Wiseman; devoted daughters, Sara Lynn Wiseman & Grace Katelyn (Ashley Brown) Wiseman; loving mother, Georganna Sue (Eppert) Wiseman; beloved brother, Kenneth Edwin (Sherri Lynn) Wiseman; grateful nieces, Emily & Katie Wiseman and a host of dear friends. A Memorial Mass for Gary will begin at 10:00am on Friday, June 14th at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church (14598 Oak Ridge Rd., Carmel, IN 46032) followed by inurnment at Carmel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested in Gary's name to the National Park Foundation or to One Tree Planted.
