

Born on February 4, 1936 in Des Moines, Iowa, Judy lived a life marked by devotion to her Catholic faith and family. She was a homemaker during her children’s school age years and later worked as a successful real estate property manger. Judy had an abiding love for her parish church, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel and a deep devotion to the Rosary and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. Judy gave of her time to coordinate delivery of the sacrament to those who could not attend mass in person. She was noted for an exceptional work ethic and unrelenting need to do whatever task was at hand, well and proper.
Judy found joy in gardening, reading, cleaning, fashion and pets. She had a deep love of Quarter Horses and dogs. Family and friends will remember her for her hospitality, style and strong feelings about almost everything.
Judy is survived by her husband of forty-five years, Charles, daughter, Camille (George) Riley, son Matthew (Michelle) Bloomfield, daughter Melissa (Shawn) Hallahan and son Erik (Janet) Bloomfield. Judy was preceded in death by her mother, Francis, father, Ernest, sister Barbara and brothers Michael and Bud. Judy was blessed with ten grandchildren and thirty-four great grandchildren.
She will lay in state at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Carmel, Indiana from 9:00 until 10:30 followed by a Rosary and eulogy. A funeral mass at the church will begin immediately following conclusion of the rosary at 11:00. A committal service will be held at Our Lady of Peace cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana on Tuesday at 11:00.
Judy’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
