

Kimberly McCabe, age 44, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2025. Kimberly was born on July 14, 1981, in Lafayette, Indiana, to James and Cynthia McCabe. Kimberly grew up in Williamsport, Indiana; attended Seeger High School; graduated from Denison University with a Bachelor of Arts in 2003; and from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2006.
Kimberly was a beautiful, kind, and sweet soul. She cared deeply about the well-being of others, friends and strangers alike. Kimberly’s sense of humor was always apparent, as was comfort for someone in need. She met the challenges of life with bravery and resolve. Kimberly loved her family dearly, and greatly mourned the passing of her father, Jim, in 2024. As of her passing, Kimberly had enjoyed ten years of a wonderful and loving marriage. She was a truly wonderful person.
As a professional, Kimberly took great pride in being an attorney. She focused her practice in family law, which allowed her to help individuals through trying times in their lives.
Kimberly is survived by her husband, William; mother Cynthia; and brother Ross (Taylor). Kimberly is preceded in death by her father, James; aunt Julia Poor (David); and cousin Scott Brown (Jacqueline).
Kimberly’s loss is immeasurable, and her family and friends will miss her dearly.
To honor Kimberly’s life, the family invites any who knew her to a remembrance gathering to be held at St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church located at 1402 W. Main St., Carmel, IN 46032, on August 26, 2025, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The gathering will be held in the Parish Hall at the Church.
