Dearest Mary Ellen,

We are unable to attend your mother's life celebration today, but want you to know we are thinking of you and praying for you all. Your mother was kind, sweet-hearted, and friendly when I met her.

Our best to you,

I had the pleasure of meeting Diane and Charlie at the VFW in Carmel. What great people both of them were. The room would be a little brighter when they walked in. Rest in peace Diane.
My condolences to the family
