It is with great sadness, the family of Nancy Wells Jackson, 89, announces her passing on September 3, 2025. She was born in Richmond on May 7, 1936. Mrs. Jackson loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved the Lord and served as president of Aglow, a women’s Christian organization; hosted a bible study in her home for several years; and volunteered at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John David Jackson. She is survived by her sister, Cherie Lee (Bill) and brother, Jamie B. Wells. She will be deeply missed by her three children, Desiree Kay Jackson (Mike); David Wesley Jackson; and Michelle Ann Jackson Strain (Randy); grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Jackson blessed all who knew her with her exquisite gifts of hospitality, grace, and kindness. A private family service was held on September 18, 2025 at Second Presbyterian Church.
