Charles Nathan Slavik, 41, of Carmel, departed this life October 27, 2021 in Indianapolis. He was born July 17, 1980 in Indianapolis to Charles R. and Cheryl L. (Morgenstern) Slavik. Nate was a 1999 graduate of Westfield High School and a 2003 graduate of Indiana University – Bloomington. He owned and operated his own trade show materials business, Indy Displays. Nate is loved and missed greatly by family, friends and all who knew him.
Nate was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond and Ellen Slavik and Dean Morgenstern; his uncle, Craig Slavik and cousin, Matt Grimes. He is survived by his parents, Charlie and Cheryl Slavik; his sister, Stephanie (Matt) Jones; his nieces and nephews, Ella, Eli, Lucy and Finn Jones; his grandmother, Mabel Morgenstern; his aunts, Pam (John) Grimes and Joyce (Greg) Birtsch; cousins, Tommy (Marsha) Cravens, Teddy (Liz) Cravens, Stuart Grimes, Ashleigh (Clint) Ridenour, and Hunter (Kendra) Birtsch, as well as a host of friends and his beloved dog, Gunner.
A celebration of Nate’s life will be from 1:00 – 4:00pm on Saturday, November 20th at Leppert Mortuary – Smith Carmel Chapel, 900 N. Rangeline Road in Carmel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested in Nate’s memory to the Humane Society for Hamilton County: 10501 Hague Rd, Fishers, IN 46038
