IN THE CARE OF
Leppert Mortuaries – Carmel
The world became a better place on January 25, 1950, when Pam Miller Freeland was born to Donna and George Miller, in Royal Oak, Michigan. On a beautiful day in 1966, at a gas station near the Indiana Fairgrounds, Pam accidentally met John Freeland, when they were both in high school. Soon Pam and John became inseparable and life partners and lovers. Pam married John on March 6, 1971. They had one son, David.
Pam was an animal lover, and over her life time she either adopted or helped others adopt many best friends. Pam graduated from North Central High School in 1968. Over the years, Pam lived in Royal Oak, Michigan; Indianapolis, Indiana; Carmel, Indiana; Boulder, Colorado; North Venice, Florida; and Westfield, Indiana.
On January 17, 2023, our community sadly lost a loving wife, mother, and sister, when Pam left this Earth. Pam’s passing has left a big gap in the hearts of her husband John, son David, and daughter-in-law Heather Freeland. Pam’s parents and only brother Richard predeceased her. In addition to her husband, son, and daughter, Pam’s only sister Shirley Connette has survived her.
To honor Pam’s memory, please make a memorial contribution to the Humane Society for Hamilton County, 10501 Hague Road, Fishers, Indiana 46038
