65, of Carmel, Indiana departed this life at his home on Wednesday, July 20, 2022. Paul was born in New Albany and raised in Clarksville, Indiana and was a graduate of Clarksville High School. He then attended Ball State University earning his degree in architecture. Paul worked as an architect for 39 years, and most recently worked for VPS Architecture.
Paul loved a variety of sports. Back in his high school days, he was a three-sport athlete competing in track & field, football and baseball for the Generals of Clarksville. Later in life, he enjoyed cycling and boating in Florida. Paul was an Indianapolis Colts fan, and a season ticket holder for several years; but in the last few years, he rarely missed a Formula 1 race. He was always a snappy dresser, and most likely, owned one of the largest collections of baseball caps in the state of Indiana. He was fond of 70’s and 80’s rock and roll, and could name a tune better than anyone who knew him. Paul was happiest making meaningful memories with his loving family and friends.
Paul was preceded in death by his dear mother, Margaret E. “Patty” Endris and beloved brother, Daniel V. Endris.
Paul is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Susan E. (Zimmerman) Endris, his devoted daughter, Elaine B. Endris; his dedicated father, Paul A. Endris, Sr.; beloved big sister, Mary Pat (Jim) Willis; dear in-laws, Sandi (Mike) Brill, Stacey Myers and Debbie Endris; grateful nieces and nephews, Kristin L. (Scott) Willis-McKenzie, Jaylen Endris, Chelsea Endris, Christopher Brill, Cameron Brill and his little buddy Dooley.
A celebration of life will be held at Leppert Mortuary – Smith Carmel Chapel on Wednesday, July 27th at 2:00 pm in the mortuary followed by a reception until 6 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested in Paul’s name to American Stroke Association.
