Phillip was a proud graduate of Carmel High School, Class of 2014. Following high school, he pursued his passion for automobiles. He worked at a locally owned shop in Westfield and two area dealerships before becoming a self-employed auto mechanic. Phillip was known for not just his strong work ethic and dedication to his craft, but also for always taking time to help others. He was always willing to interrupt his day to help a co-worker diagnose a car or help someone stranded with car problems. He was respected by those who knew him for his hard work and determination.
Cars were more than a profession for Phillip; they were his passion. He enjoyed spending time around the automotive community and attending car events. Beyond his love of vehicles, Phillip found joy in the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. His love of nature extended into his home life in which he rescued both domestic and exotic animals. He also desired to have a self-sufficient hobby farm. He cherished the time spent with family and friends sharing those experiences.
Above all else, Phillip loved his family. He treasured the time he spent with his children the most along with those closest to him, creating memories that will be carried forward by all who knew and loved him.
His family and friends will always remember his sense of humor and his big heart. Phillip loved a good prank, always looking for a way to make others laugh. His ability to spread joy will be greatly missed.
Phillip is survived by his beloved daughter, Avarie Seaman, and son, Kai'ryn Seaman; his father, Phillip John Seaman; his mother, Jennifer Seaman; his brother, Nicolaas Seaman; his sisters, Jessica Navarro, Katherine Seaman, and Caroline Noel Seaman; his grandmother, Vivian Seaman; and his grandparents, Gerard "Jerry" and Lorraine Van Vliet; and his nephew, Vicente Navarro.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Donald Seaman, who welcomed him into eternal peace.
Phillip's memory will live through the love he shared with his family, the friendships he forged, and the lives he touched through his generosity, loyalty, and humor. Though he will be deeply missed, he will never be forgotten.
