He enjoyed trips to Dale Hollow with family and spent many memorable times in Fort Myers Beach, Florida, where he enjoyed deep-sea fishing with friends and family. He also loved taking his boat down to the Florida Keys to fish and enjoy time on the water.
Another favorite pastime was camping and traveling in RVs. Bob enjoyed getting away, traveling, and sharing those experiences with family and friends.
Bob was also an avid race fan, and his passion for racing went well beyond watching from the sidelines. Over the years, Bob was a race team owner and also sponsored different race teams. He enjoyed NASCAR and sharing his love of racing with friends.
Bob is survived by his sons, Daniel Lunsford and John Lunsford; his sisters, Vickie (Ray) Davis and Teresa Myers; his brother, Jim Lunsford; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Lunsford.
Bob will be laid to rest at Carmel Cemetery in Carmel, Indiana.
At Bob’s request, a small, private service will be held for immediate family and those closest to him. A Celebration of Life for all family and friends will be held at a future date, with details to be announced.
