Steven Wayne Mahana, age 75, of Indianapolis, passed away September 26, 2025. He was born May 28, 1950, in Des Moines, Iowa to the late Wayne and Margaret Mahana. He earned a bachelor's degree in business at Indiana University and retired from Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS).
Along with his many accomplishments, he was most proud of earning the rank of an Eagle Scout.
Steven is survived by his wife Brenda of 41 years; son Seth (Kristi) Johnson; daughter, Shelly (fiancé Bart Churchward) Mahana; grandsons, Jase, Eli, Isaiah; sisters, Carolyn (Tom) Cook and Debi (Chris) Frayer; and five nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held with burial at Carmel Cemetery, Carmel, Indiana.
