Tim and I worked together for many years at Lilly and he has been a tremendously reliable and pleasant colleague. His expertise, commitment, and calmness played a key role for his uncountable important contributions to Lilly’s mission and success. I am very saddened by his too early passing and wish the family strength and offer my condolences and hope you will remember the many happy moments and memories you shared with Tim.

Dear Tim, you are a wonderful father, grandpa, son, uncle, friend, coworker, and my favorite little brother. You are intelligent, kind, thoughtful, caring, religious, athletic, and fun! Remember making us laugh as kids with your talking belly button? What a great ice hockey goalie you were…I was the one in the bleachers with the air horn cheering you on. You were my downhill skiing buddy. I loved the time when the two of us drove up to Vermont and skied all day and ate apple crisp on the radiator all night. I was so excited when you moved to your first apartment after college and told me you met the girl you wanted to marry. I hadn’t heard of any girlfriends before that, so Colleen must have been very special. You and Colleen created such a loving family. I was so glad I could visit with you at Lake George when you drove that 11 hour trip. We are still using the checklist you invented to get mom up and put her to bed everyday. Your bullet point emails were always so very helpful, no matter the topic. Tim, I have a picture in my mind of Christ giving you a big hug and anxiously awaiting one of your excel spreadsheets. I love you so much little brother! I’ll see you in heaven. 

Tim you will be profoundly missed. You were not only a brilliant colleague but a truly wonderful person. You were always willing to help and teach people at work.  All your contributions were invaluable, even nowadays we still work with your slides and with your teachings. My deepest condolences to Tim´s family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Now rests beside the Lord.

I’m saddened to hear about the passing of Tim Kopf. He was a mentor on financial and a respected good person. May his legacy continue to inspire other ones at Lilly.

I worked with Tim for many years and am deeply saddened to hear of his passing.  Tim was a consummate professional and a man of the highest character and integrity.  He was always willing to listen and to help and served as a great role model to others.  You have my sincere condolences.

My heart breaks for you.  For years I felt I had a front row seat to watching your family grow up.   It was always so precious to see you at mass first with your own children and then the grandkids. That's how I will always remember Tim, holding and carrying his children and loving his family.  May God's infinite and  incomprehensible love  hold you up in the coming days and for all the years ahead.

So sad to hear that Tim has passed.  I worked with Tim for many years at Lilly.  I always enjoyed our working relationship and his passion for always doing things right. 

While I am grieving myself, I am truly heartbroken for Colleen, their children and spouses, plus all their grandchildren. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Shortly after he retired, he and Colleen spent the day with Caitlin and her family going to the zoo. I remember we talked about how wonderful it was to be a part of a family activity rather than just hear about it. I am honored to be one of Tim’s siblings and loved growing up with such a fun family. He was kind, smart, funny and an all around great guy.  I will miss you little brother.  Until we meet again, you have a piece of my heart. 

Tim and I worked closely at Lilly for many years. I am deeply saddened by his early passing and send condolences to his family. Tim had a deep expertise in finance and product costing and was instrumental in changing the landscape of how product costing was done in a complex business environment. He was a man of incredible integrity with an attention to detail and focus that few possess. He made an enormous impact at Lilly over his career and was a wonderful colleague to work with.

I followed Tim at Tippecanoe  Labs, when I crossed over from IT to financial. He trained me on all his wonderful spreadsheets and procedures. Then we worked together on several projects over the years. He was always gracious to me and I appreciated that. My condolences to Tim’s family. 

Tim was a pleasure to work with at Lilly. His advice was sound and he always added meaningful content to discussions. He was also a faithful Catholic. May he rest in God's merciful hands.
