Alita had worked as a graphic artist and was a member of the Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Georgia Jean Carpenter, she is survived by her brother, Hal Hines and his wife June of Sunnyvale, Texas.
Memorial services will be at 2 pm Saturday, January 12th at the Messiah Baptist Church, 7101 Baker Blvd., Richland Hills, Texas.
Arrangements are under the direction of Rhoton Funeral Home in Carrollton, Texas.
