Anita was a very special person, a loving mother, grandmother and wife, and a best friend to my mother before she passed away. I have always considered her a second mom in some ways. And while Alzheimer's saw to it that she was not herself the past few years, that's how I'll remember her, as my "other mom" and because of that John Andrew has always been like a brother to me. She was one of the most caring, unselfish, and generous people I had the privilege of knowing in my 42 years. I miss you, Anita, and can't wait to see your smiling face again...

I loved my grandmother very much and have many wonderful memories of her. I remember when she, my grandfather, and my aunt took me to Glen Rose where we swam in the river and fed the animals in the zoo there. I wish that I could have had more memories of her beautiful smiling face, but I look forward to seeing her again soon. I love and miss you, Mamou! <3

I loved my mother and miss all the great times we had together. She was always there to encourage me and teach me.  I will always remember her patience and love she gave to Michelle and me. She will be remembered for being a good friend and wonderful mom.

I wish more than anything that I could have known my mother-in-law Anita before she got sick. I know she was a wonderful and loving person. I am honored to be married to her son, John Andrew and together we are raising her only grand-daughter, Lauren. I know that Anita would be so proud of Lauren and the beautiful, sweet person she has become. We are very sad right now but we hold on to our hope that in God's new world, we will all be reunited and sickness and death will be no more.

I loved my sister so much I really have missed her these last couple of years and will always remember her beautiful smiling face even though we didn't grow up together in the same house since she married when I was 3  I always loved spending time with her when I could. She was such a big help to me when I got married the first time always writing me and sending me recipes she was such a caring person and I will miss her dearly. I love you Anita.

MY SISTER WAS GREAT! WE SPENT PROBABLY 17 YEARS AS ROOMMATES. WE TALKED TOO MUCH, TOO LATE AND GOT IN TROUBLE A LOT. I WILL MISS HER MORE THAN WORDS CAN SAY.
