Betty Joann Brown

Betty Joann Scudder Brown 80, of Carrollton, TX passed away Saturday, August, 3, 2013 at Presbyterian Hospital of Plano of Complications of Cancer.

Betty was born in Gainseville, Texas Jan 27,1933 to Miles Flonzo and Virgie Lee Scudder. Betty Graduated Ceres Union High School in 1952. That same year she married Air Force Staff Sgt Jesse J. brown in Gainseville, Tx. Betty Started her married life as a Military Wife in Ft. Walton Beach Florida. After the Korean war she settled in Farmers Branch and later Carrollton, Tx, along with Jesse and her Two Daughters.

A Christian, Betty was affiliated with Several Baptist Churches. She was a long time Employee of Carrollton Farmers Branch I.S.D.

Her Passion was her family.

Betty was preceeded in death by her Mother and Father; A son-in law Willard Teague. She is survived by her Husband; Sister Barbara Ruth Osburn;Daughter Debra Lee Brown Teague of Nashville AR; Daughter Pamela Ruth Brown Carroll and Husband Jackie R. Carroll of Emory Tx; along with 6 grandchildren and 10 greatgrandchildren.

Family will recieve friends Tuesday, August 6, 2013 from 6-8pm at Rhoton Funeral Home. Funeral Services will take place Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at 10 in the Chapel of Rhoton Funeral Home with Pastor David Sutton officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Gainseville, Tx.
