Carolyn Kay Chumley Kirbie, 74, passed away Friday, February 7, 2014 in Carrollton, Texas. Carolyn was born to Jack & Catherine Chumley on September 30, 1939 in Dallas, Texas. She was preceded in death by both parents. She is survived by her daughter Cynthia Renee’ Kirbie Godwin and husband Jimmy; Grandchildren Christopher Jordan Godwin and wife Amanda, Andrea Renee’ Godwin; brother Jack W. Chumley and wife Sandra; nephew Michael Thomas Chumley and wife Lisa, Lauren and Luke as well as many cousins. Carolyn was a founding member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Carrollton, Texas. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and aunt. Visitation will be Sunday, February 9, 2014 from 5-7 pm at Rhoton Funeral Home, Carrollton, Texas. Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 10, 2014 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church at 11 am in Carrollton Texas with interment immediately following at Grove Hill Memorial Cemetery.
