Clara Sicking Black of Farmers Branch, Texas, left this life on September 11, 2026 to be reunited with the love of her life, Byron. Clara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed spending time baking and candy making. Clara missed her husband of 62 years but knew she would see him again. Her strong faith in God helped her get through her final years that included multiple health difficulties.

Clara was born in Muenster, Texas on November 3, 1934. She made Farmers Branch her home for over 60 years. Clara and Byron were early members of Mary Immaculate Catholic Church. Clara was a member of the church choir for many years.

Clara is survived by her four children, Connie Bratton, Pamela Farris (John), Curtis Black, Sherri Bartsch (Jeff), 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her loving sister Mary Ann Pels of Pilot Point and numerous nieces and nephews.
