OBITUARY
Deborah Tapp
April 5, 1949 – February 4, 2021
With heavy hearts, we announce Deborah Anne Tapp (71) went to be with our Lord on February 4th, 2021. She was born on April 5th, 1949 in Princeton, IN. Debbi lived in Mt. Carmel, IL, Portland, OR, Evansville, IN, Chicago, IL and Indianapolis, IN before finally settling in Carrollton, TX.
Debbi was a devoted Christian, wife, mother and Nona. Her generous heart was matched only by her adoration for her family. Spending time with her grandkids was her greatest joy that enabled her to outlast a cancer diagnosis for almost six years.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Dennis; three children, Matthew (Julie), Leslie (Drew) and Chris; five grandchildren, Matthew, Jr, Samuel, Estelle, Jack and James; three siblings, Steve (Kathy), Bob (Sue) and Sue (Steve). She is further survived by other relatives including 21 nieces and nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

To Dennis and family:
So sad to hear of Debbie’s passing. I know over the last several years, she had been thru some painful times, but now her soul is free from the suffering of her physical form. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family. You have told me your family is strong, which is a blessing for sure, and with that strength and support of each other, you will all get thru this.
I am sorry the weather did not allow me to make the drive to Frisco, but you are all in my thoughts and I am with you in spirit. God bless.

Denny, So sorry for your loss. Debbi was such a good leader at SMAT. We shared many conversations mostly about kids and grandkids. We love our kids and grandkids. I’m so happy she could retire to spend some time with them. Prayers and hugs.

Although I didn't get a chance very often, I enjoyed talking and laughing with Debbie when we were waiting for Sloane and Estelle at gymnastics.
Another time, was at Christmas when we decorated ginger bread houses with Sloane and Estelle.

Dennis, Matt, Chris, Leslie and extended families,
Please know our sincere sympathy is flowing out to you.
We treasure the times of sharing, and enjoying the years of raising children with Debbie (and you) as a second family to their always-together friends. And, later, celebrating their milestones for years.
We are holding your family in our hearts and lifting you in prayer.

My favorite memories with Debbi is all our college road trips to visit our daughters. Nothing was too much trouble to make sure Leslie as well as her roomies had everything they needed. Debbi always made our trips fun!
Debbi is one of the nicest, kindest, most genuine ladies I have ever known. I am heartbroken for all of you! I will keep you all in my prayers for comfort and peace.
Hugs,

Dennis, Mathew, Christopher & Leslie,
Words are not adequate at a time like this. We are so sad and heartbroken about Debbi. To know her was to love her. She was a true fiend to all of our family and she will be missed. Not many friends would let you drop off your three young children at 6:30 a m on the way to work! What a dear. She loved all of you & of course, her grandchildren. Our thoughts & prayers are with you during this most difficult time. Please know we are here for all of you forever!
In sympathy & love,
Mike & Sue & family
