Diana Jo Blanco

Diana Jo Blanco, age 65, of The Colony, Texas, passed away on November 16, 2016. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 10:00 AM.
On March 30, 1951 in a small town called Hermleigh, TX, Diana Jo Bennett was born and began her journey through life. Diana was the oldest of three girls born to Wanda Hooper and Howard Bennett. As a child she was raised in Snyder, TX, and later in her teen years moved to Midland, TX. She began work at an early age and helped raise her two sisters. She attended Robert E. Lee High School and soon studied a few years at Navarro College. On February 28, 1970, Diana married Avel Blanco. They had their first son, Mike, in 1971. In 1979, they had their second son, Kory. In 1981, the family moved to California. A few years later in 1985, they moved back to Texas to The Colony. Diana was active in darts where she met many friends and developed long lasting relationships. She absolutely adored her two sons. She loved to spend time with her grandkids and attend their school functions and softball games. Since 2007, Diana had suffered from multiple medical complications. She was called to heaven in the early morning of November 16, 2016.
Diana Blanco is survived by her husband, Avel Blanco; son Mike Blanco and his wife Ashley Marlowe along with their daughters, Taylor Curbow and Payton Blanco; son Kory Blanco and his wife Veronica Blanco along with their daughter Kymbir Blanco and son, Liam Blanco.
