Grace Drennan Gagnet was an occupational safety professional for 28 years and a translator of technical environmental, safety and health documents for 24 years. A devoted mother, her two children, Corinne and Louis Gagnet, gave her the greatest joy in life. Her dear brother Michael Drennan sent her postcards every day for over 38 years and worked with her as an artist and creative writer in her safety consulting business for about a dozen years.
She was an active Catholic who was the Divine Mercy Team coordinator for the past 12 years and founding member of the Cenaculo de la Divina Misericordia, a prayer group that meets four times a week.
In addition to her children and brother, she is survived by her mother, Dorothy Drennan, son-in-law David Boice, her sister Gladys Hellriegel and her husband Joey, their children and grandchildren, her brother Mark Drennan’s family of nieces, nephew and grandchildren, and many Drennan cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, who died in a car accident in 1965, and her brother Mark, a Florida Highway Patrol officer who died of a heart attack in 2000.
