

He was a loving, silently helpful, and caring husband and father who genuinely loved his family.
Brett attended high school in Houston, Texas and college in Dallas. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and received the Bronze Star Medal. He was employed by Halliburton Corporation for 20 years as a CNC programmer and planner.
His father, Harold Brett Morris Sr. preceded Brett in death. He is survived in death by his loving and devoted wife of 46 years, Gay Morris; his precious daughters, Becky Morris Gohs and Cindy Morris Redman; his grandchildren, Jack and Reagan Redman and Maggie and Jamie Gohs; his sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Roy Washburn; niece and nephew Janie Washburn Bruun and Ned Washburn; his loving mother, Mary Ellen Brundle; his brothers: David, Mark, and John and his sisters: Marjorie Cole, Sallie Wilson, and Barbara Hill; nieces and nephews, Lee and Lindsay Wilson Fehr, Jeremy and Steven Morris, and Laura Morris Stucki.
A memorial service will be held at ST. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church in the St. Michael Chapel at 4 pm on Friday, September 27, 2013.
IN lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the Alzheimer’s Women’s Association for Resources and Education (A.W.A.R.E.) or the charity of your choice.
