Helen Hausmann, born February 13, 1939, passed away September 13, 2016. Helen’s life was characterized by her love of volunteer work. She volunteered for the VA, where she was volunteer of the year in 2003 for the VA North Texas Health Care Systems SRMVC in Bonham, TX. She also volunteered at the Carrollton Senior Center where she helped sew items for soldiers deployed overseas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Robert Hausmann. She is survived by sons Richard Hausmann and wife Rose Ann of Carrollton, TX and Robert Hausmann and wife Lorena of Baytown, TX; granddaughter, Sarah Hausmann; great grandson, Elijah Hausmann; brothers, David and Leonard Martinez; sisters-in-laws, Karoline, Helen, Elida, and Angie Martinez and numerous nephews and nieces. Service will be held at St. Andrews Episcopal Church 2783 Valwood Parkway Farmers Branch, TX 75234, 10am, Friday, September 23rd, 2016.
