Howard Allen Joplin was born on May 20, 1954 in Tucson, Arizona to Carl Allen Joplin Jr. and his wife Jackie Charlene Joplin. Howard would exit school before graduation to join the Air Force. Howard served in Vietnam and upon his return, he made sure to get his GED. Howard worked for Halliburton for 35 plus years as a technician and did so up until his passing. He was the kind of guy that knew how to fix things. People would call with a problem that had stumped them and Howard could fix it. Howard loved sports of all kinds and his favorite team was the Dallas Stars. He also enjoyed building model airplanes, fishing, reading about history, and making things with his hands. Most of all, Howard loved his grand children. His sign of affection was rubbing their heads and they all knew how much he loved them. Howard passed away on December 10, 2013 in Carrollton, TX. Howard is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Mary Joplin, as well as by his children Teresa Muñoz and Christal Anderson. Howard is also survived by his grandchildren, Jacob Allen Joplin, Caleb Daniel Muñoz, Caitlyn Irene Anderson, Jaidyn Carlene Muñoz, Addison Roriegh Muñoz, and Tristan Matthew Anderson, his mother Jackie Joplin, and by his 2 brothers James and Phillip Joplin. Howard is preceded in death by his father, Carl Allen Joplin Jr., and brother Bradley Joplin. Howard Joplin.....This is Chris Stewart Kovach. I have known you and Mary since junior high, T.J. Marsh. I remember you being a hard, hard worker! Providing for your family always. You did love your grandchildren very much and your girls (daughters)! You always stuck by Mary and were a devoted son and brother. You were always a cutie (hottie) in junior high and high school. You always seemed alittle shy to me back then but, extremely nice looking. Christine Stewart Kovach...Carrollton, Texas
