Irene moved to Texas and became a beloved resident of Farmers Branch for 50 years. She pursued her passion for early child development at Brookhaven College and dedicated her career to nurturing young minds at Parker-Chace Child Development School on Trinity Mills from 1980 to 1983.
Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Purvis Guillory, her father, Stanley Desele, her mother, Ina Rachele, and her brother, Edgar Desselle. She is survived by her sons, Stanley Guillory and Michael Guillory, her daughters-in-law Diane Guillory and Shelly Guillory, and her granddaughters Amanda Guillory and Lisa Davidson (husband Jim) and 2 great granddaughters, Skylar and Olivia Davidson.
A committal service will be held at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, located at 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211, on January 7, 2026, at 2:15 pm.
Irene will be remembered for her kind heart and dedication to her family and community.
