Jacob (Raju) Stephen Mullasseril

Jacob Stephen was born in Mundakayam, Kottayam on May 12, 1937 to Mr. and Mrs. Chacko and Achamma Stephen. He was a very obedient son who took care of his siblings and followed in his father’s footsteps.

He married Aleyamma Thomas on February 19, 1969 in Kottayam. They lived together in Jaipur and then moved to Dallas, TX in 1983 with their three young sons: Benny, Rajeev and Joby.

He worked hard as an X-ray technician and took care of his family. He was a man of prayer and had a very strong faith. He especially loved to share his faith with his grandchildren. He was very active in the church as an altar server and was the leader of the weekly prayer meetings.

He also was our family’s personal weather and news reporter. Dad would always call us early in the morning to remind us to wear a jacket and grab our umbrella. He loved us with all of his heart and prayed continuously for us. We will miss him dearly but rejoice in his union with our Lord Jesus Christ.
