James Ray Boyd unexpectedly passed away on January 20th in the hospital. Jim was born on September 29th, 1947 in Gainesville, Texas to James G. Boyd and Ora D. Boyd. Jim married Jan Yeager on September 30, 1967 and together they raised their only child Chris. Jim was preceded in death by his wife Jan, and his parents. Jim is survived by his son Chris S Boyd and his wife Melissa A Boyd, two grandchildren Alexandra and Christopher, and one granddaughter Daisy. Jim was a hard working man, and always made sure to provide for his family. He had a long career with Chrysler as a financial auditor, and was recognized throughout his career for his tenure and accomplishments. He always loved sports, regularly watching the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorns when he wasn’t playing a round of golf at Rolling Hills CC. He enjoyed watching his grandson play soccer and enjoyed seeing Daisy. He always looked forward to spending time with family during special occasions and holidays.
