

James “Jim” Marshall Gross, 68 years old, of Carrollton, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.
Jim was born in Garland, Texas, on August 8, 1957, to James and Marsha Gross. He graduated from Lake Highlands High School and continued to receive an associate’s degree from Brookhaven Community College. Jim was married to Elizabeth “Bette” Gross on January 4, 1986. They were married for nearly 40 years.
Jim most recently worked as a purchasing agent for McKesson for 14 years. He enjoyed science fiction media, puzzles, and crafts. He was also joyfully involved in the Stephen Ministries and other various church activities. He was a member of Stonebriar Community Church in Frisco, Texas.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents James and Marsha Gross; his maternal grandparents Marshall Bennett and Nora Hays; his paternal grandparents Frank and Allie Gross; and his paternal aunt and uncle Beatrice Whitlock and John Gross.
Jim is survived by his wife Bette, daughter and son-in-law Lily and James Binford, sister Jennifer, and other family and friends who loved him dearly.
A celebration of life for Jim will be held in the new year, with details to be shared in due time.
