James Jim Montville

James Jerry “Jim” Montville, 62 of Carrollton, passed away suddenly, Saturday, April 20,2013. The family invited friends to join them for refreshments and a time of remembering and visitation, Tuesday, April 30 from 6-8 pm at Rhoton Funeral Home, 1511 S. I 35 East (Crosby & I35) Carrollton, Tx 75006. A Memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 1 at 11 am in the Chapel of Rhoton Funeral Home.

Jim was born march 6, 1951 in Chicago, Il to June Dolbert Montville and John Joseph “Jack” Montville. He obtained his bachelor degree at DeVry University in Chicago. He married Paula Mickelson May 3, 1974 in Chicago. They moved to the Dallas area where they were charter members of St Andres Christian Church of Carrollton. Jim and Paula were foster parents to 11 children, three of which they adopted. Jim was a total computer geek and the ultimate in tech-savy. He was an extremely loving father and grandfather.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Paula Mickelson Montville; three children, Lee Montville, Billy Montville, and Melissa Diaz; and four grandchildren, Graciela Lewis, Consuelo Diaz, Tony Diaz and Isabella Lora.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to St Andrews Christian Church, 3945 N. Josey Ln, Carrollton, TX 75007.
