Jerry Anthony Beatmann Sr.

Jerry Anthony Beatmann Sr., 80, currently residing in Denton, Texas, passed away on October 15, 2025.

Jerry was born in New Orleans, LA on September 30, 1945, to Wilfred and Blanch Beatmann. He graduated from Holy Cross High School and continued to receive a Bachelor’s Degree from The University of New Orleans and a Juris Doctor Degree from Loyola University of New Orleans. Jerry was married to Susan Connell on June 19, 1992; they were married 33 years.

Jerry worked as a Federal Judge for the United States Department of Justice for 35 years. He enjoyed reading, golfing, and fishing. He was also actively involved in The Knights of Columbus as a Fourth Degree.

Jerry is preceded in death by his mother Blanche, father Wilfred, and sister Carol with husband Malcolm Phillips Jr., and niece Amilia.

Jerry is survived by his wife Susan; children Connie and Ray Chai-Chang, Jay and Josie Beatmann, Wendy and Pete Bertucci, Taylor and Lauren Beatmann and children, Michael and Tracy Ayers, Darryl and Amanda Ayers, and Jeffrey Ayers; grandchildren Lindsey, Emily, Jay, Annabel, Peter, Jack, Chelcy, Chad, Chanlar, Caleb, Caroline, Catherine, and Madeleine; and great-grandchild June; brother Arther and Reyne Beatmann, nephew Jude and wife Emily and children, and other family and friends.

A funeral for Jerry is not yet scheduled.
