John Huynh Obituary

After a year long fight with cancer, John Lee Huynh peacefully passed away the morning of July 11, 2019.

During his life, you would not see him idle for very long. He enjoyed fishing, boating, riding his scooter around town, and a good meal with family and friends. At any family event, he would run around as the photographer/videographer making sure each moment is captured. He was full of life and always knew how to make you laugh. Even his laugh would bring a smile to your face.

He never backed down from any challenge... a fighter in the truest sense. We have truly been blessed to have known such an amazing husband, father, uncle, grandfather and friend. He will be missed by many, but his fighting spirit will live on in his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Lana Tran, and three children, Jim, Steve and Scott.

Visitation will begin on Saturday, July 13, 2019 from 3:00PM-9:00PM. I’m so very sorry for your loss. John was an awesome man. I could hear his laugh all over the facility. I used to eat breakfast with John on most mornings and discuss our lives. He would tell me stories about his spare time and family. And I would give him a hard time about the bowls of multi-flavor cereal. He will be greatly missed.
