Johnnie H. Truitt

John Henry Truitt (Johnnie) 68, of Celina, Texas passed away on November 21, 2012 at his residence surrounded by his family. Born May 31, 1944 in McKinney, Texas to Tommy L. and Bessie Lee Truitt. He married Wanda Watts on January 21, 1958.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Wanda; two sons, John H. Truitt of Celina, Tx and Tommy Truitt and wife Dawn of The Colony; three daughters, Judy Grahm and husband Jacky of Kaufman, Tx, Marie Hamack and Charles Taylor of Celina, Debra Stofel and husband John of Gunter Tx; 9 grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren; one sister, Winnie Northern of Missouri and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tom and his mother, Bessie, 4 brothers and 5 sisters.

The family will receive relatives and friends, Friday, November 23, 2012 from 7-9 pm in the chapel of Rhoton Funeral Home located at 1511 S. I-35 East in Carrollton, Texas 75006 972-242-5261. A graveside service will be held at 10 am, Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Furneaux Cemetery in Carrollton with Pastor David Sutton officiating.

Pallbearers will be David Chavers, Tommy Hammack, Jerriett Stofel, Danny Truitt, Ventson Truitt, and William Watts.
