He is survived by his daughters Esmeralda Rodriguez, Ruth Rodriguez’s and son Jose V. Rodriguez, 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Born on October 27, 1929, in a small Ranch town Pesqueira Nuevo Leon Mexico right outside of Monterrey, Nuevo Leon Mexico, Mr. Rodriguez called Dallas, Texas his home.
Mr. Rodriguez was a hard working honest and dedicated family man loved by his friend’s family and community. His journey which started in Mexico as well as the United States had many directions some took him as far as Washington State looking for work. However, his love for Texas, especially South Texas the Valley McAllen to be exact always brought him back to Texas. He finally settled in Dallas Texas and raised his family. Mr. Rodriguez was very proud of his dual citizenship in both the United States and Mexico. He spent most of his life working and when he was off work, he worked on fixing anything that required work in and around the house. He was a dedicated father and loved his grandchildren, teaching them to walk and chasing them around made him happy. He loved the sport of boxing and was an active member of the Catholic Church community of Our Lady of Perpetual help for many years. Mr. Rodriguez will be truly missed.
Visitation will be on Thursday August 21, 2025, from 5pm to 9pm at Rhoton Funeral Home,
1511 S. Interstate 35E Carrollton, TX 75006. A funeral mass will be held Friday August 22, 2025, at 11am at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church 2800 Valwood Pkwy Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.
He will be laid to rest with his wife after the Church services at Calvary Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery 3235 Lombardy Ln Dallas, Texas. 75220.
