Luis was born in Mexico City on March 18, 1956, to Jesus Saldana and Teresa Vargas. He was a gifted painter whose murals and window art brought color and life to the Dallas and Santa Barbara communities.
In addition to his artistry, Luis was a passionate musician. Whether strumming his guitar at family gatherings or sharing songs with loved ones, music was his way of connecting and spreading joy.
He is survived by his five children - Ruby, Paul, Isaac, Adriana, and Marina - ten grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on November 04, 2025 at 5pm-9pm at Rhoton Funeral Home.
