Joseph D’Amico, age 86 of Carrollton Texas died on February 2nd, 2021. Born and raised in Tripoli, Libya he emigrated to the US in his teenage years. He lived in New Jersey for many years before settling to Carrollton in the early 90’s. Joseph was a veteran of the US Army. He was proud of his service to the U.S. Army. He was a proud business owner who established Town East Collision in Mesquite Texas prior to retiring. He worked hard most of his life to enjoy the blessings life had to offer. Joseph also proudly received his citizenship to the United States.

He was a loving father to his three children, Sal D’Amico and his wife Lori, Tanya Kuhlo, her husband Steve, Craig D’Amico and his wife Gina. He was the caring and doting grandfather to 5 grandchildren, Casey Martin, Steven Kuhlo, Aiden Kuhlo, Angelina D’Amico and Anthony D’Amico who will all miss him dearly. Joseph was a big part of his children’s and grandchildren’s lives. He is also survived by his Sister Helen of Italy and Rose of New Jersey.

Joseph loved traveling. His casino visits were his favorite destinations. If you needed to find him just go toward the slots! He was known to pull an all-nighter (many times)! He was always up for an adventure and was able to travel to many destinations with his family to which they enjoyed and will forever cherish. He was generous and kindhearted with a whit that will be unmatched. You would never know what he may say so be ready! But the best of it was catching you off guard.

He was loved by his family and will always hold a special part of their heart. They are truly grateful for the time they had with him and he will be missed greatly.
