My deepest condolences to Joey's family. I was reminiscing about him a couple of days ago. I remember best his kindness, warmth and concern with what was going on in our lives. He was always so considerate of others. Truly a beautiful person through and through. That is what I remember. Joey was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. My sympathy to his partner and the Ribaul family.

Heaven received an angel just the other day when u left... I remember your voice as though it was yesterday, that powerful voice that would make any heart sing...now sings for the kingdom of heaven... You Joey will b missed.

Joey, your laugh was contagious, your heart bigger than your chest could hold, and your voice was that of an angel...the world's loss was Heaven's gain...you will be missed by us mere mortals...

Joey will be remembered for creating the best atmosphere at every gathering he attended, small or large. This is especially so for family reunions. Joey brought humor and laughter, kindness and compassion, and was also a thoughtful listener. And, of course, a terrific singer. He is missed already.
