Josephine Frances Dellaporte Stevenson, Jo, 73, of Carrollton, Texas passed away on July 27, 2018.

She is survived by her spouse, Howard; children, D'Ann Vermillion and Dea Dorsey; sister, Emma Anzideo; nephews and niece, Anthony Anzideo, Dominic Anzideo, Vincent Anzideo, and Debbie Anzideo Baldassarre; grandchildren, Alex and Allee Steele, and other family and friends. Jo is preceeded in death by her parents, Madalene and Anthony Dellaporte and brother, Harry Dellaporte.

Jo was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on April 5, 1945. She graduated from Germantown High School and continued on to vocational school for data entry. On July 3, 1969, she married Howard Thomas Stevenson; they were married for 49 years.

On February 19, 1973 and December 12, 1975 respectively, she welcomed two beautiful daughters, who were the most important part of her life. Jo enjoyed traveling to many of America's favorite destinations with her family. Her other passion in life was crocheting blankets. Her most famous blanket was the baby blankets that many of her friends and family still cherish today.

The memorial service will be held at 6:30 PM on August 3, 2018 at Rhoton Funeral Home, 1511 South Interstate 35 Carrollton, Texas 75006 (Crosby and I-35). Rev. Patrick Thomas of Reunion Church will be officiating. Friends and family are welcome to a gathering with refreshments and snacks immediately after the service. Burial will follow at a later date for immediate family at DFW National Cemetary, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway Dallas, Texas 75211.
