Leno was working at Lone Star Feed in Nacogdoches, TX before moving to Farmers Branch, TX in 1965 where he worked as a shipping and receiving clerk for Baifield Industries.
He married the love of his life, Rita I. Triana, on April 29, 1950 and they had three children together: Shirley, JoAnn, and Carolyn Sue.
Leno was a strong, hardworking, and independent man. He enjoyed going fishing and hunting and spending time with his family. You could often find him playing horseshoes during family functions.
Leno is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and six siblings.
He is survived by his daughters; Shirley L. Dozier (Jimmie), JoAnn Amos (Gerald), and Carolyn Sue Lozano. He is also survived by five grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
All services will be help at Rhoton Funeral Home located at 1511 South I-35E, Carrollton, TX 75006. Services are scheduled for December 27, 2022 with a visitation from 11am-12pm followed by the funeral service from 12pm-1pm. The committal service will be held at Calvary Hill Cemetery located at 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, TX 75220 at 3pm.
