

Lester Lee Gideon was born 3-28-34 in Brownsboro, TX. He died 11-1-15 at the age of 81 in Carrollton, TX. He is survived by his wife Margaret Louise Gideon of Carrollton, TX. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Jona and Ethel Walker, Brothers J.D.Walker and Joe Mac Walker. He is survived by son James Gideon and wife Belinda of Kerens, TX; daughter Cheryl Bryant and husband Jennings of Shady Shores, TX; son Gerald Gideon of Corinth, NY. He is also survived by sister Dora Henderson and husband Jerry of Coppell, TX; brother Ulan Walker and wife Wanda of Seven Points, TX; sister Peggy Tucker and husband Lawson of Grand Prairie, TX; brother Phillip Walker and wife Neva of Denison, TX; sister-in-law Janet Walker of Grand Prairie, TX; sister-in-law Louise Walker of Lewisville, TX. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He left school in Palmer, TX and joined the Navy to fight in the Korean Conflict. While in San Diego he met Margaret Baldwin who he married on 7-4-53. After receiving 3 combat stars he went to work in the aerospace industry in Southern California. He returned to Texas in 1964. Lester spent many years as a member of the Coppell Assembly of God and more recently the Central Park Baptist Church in Carrollton, TX. He retired from the City of Dallas. He was retired for 26 years.
