

Marjorie was born in Sonsonate, El Salvador at her grandfather’s sugar plantation, to Louis Hockwald and Melinda Moisant Hockwald of San Francisco California. She moved to San Francisco as a young child where she was educated in Catholic schools. After graduation she moved back to El Salvador for a few years and then moved to New Orleans where she met ad married her husband George Crowe. They were married 62 years and had 3 children.
She lived in Lake Charles La., where she was a housewife for 10 years until they moved to Dallas in 1966. In 1968, the family moved to Kansas City, Kansas where in 1971 she got her real, estate license and began selling real estate. The family moved back to Dallas in 1973 where she continues to pursue her real estate career she enjoyed and loved until 1998, when she retired.
Marjorie loved to travel with her husband and friends. Going to movies and game nights. After she retired she was active in the Red Hats and Catholic Daughters and her main passion reading. She was a member of Mary Immaculate Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband George Crowe, daughter Cathy and son in law Wayne League, son Harry and his children Camille and Garrett, son Brennan and and wife Kathleen Crowe and their daughter Donegal.
A Rosary will be recited on November 2nd at 2:00 pm at Calvary Hill North Chapel Mausoleum. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:30 following the Rosary. Msgr. Leon Duesman presiding. Reception to follow 3:30-5:30 pm at Calvary Hill Funeral Home.
