Martha Pinto Whitus

Her inner strength, beautiful personality and smile was an inspiration to all. Martha loved interacting with people, and lending a helping hand to those less fortunate, she always has an open heart and sincerely listened to all who opened up to her.

She was an avid playing tennis player winning several trophies nation wide, Martha was an extremely talented oil painter, with a focus on the beauty of nature, the land, the sea, and the air.

Martha is predeceased by her daughters, Denise Marie Whitus-Goss, Janet Deane Whitus. She is survived by her Husband, Robert T. Whitus, Son, Robert C. Whitus.

FINAL WORDS FROM MARTHA

I was born and orphaned, raised by a Hispanic family. It was a hard life, but I adapted and appreciated the care and love I recieved. It gave me the strength to face the pain and loss I would face in the coming years. I was blessed with a husband, family over my long and blessed life. I married well and to a strong wonderful husband, my soul-mate, my love, any woman could have hoped to have. We met at a dance, it was love at first sight, We married in six months and walked hand and hand together for 66 years. I pray we reunite in the next phase of life. There is no other I would with to love and share my life. Bob, Bob, my love and my light.

My husband and I lost our beautiful daughters. Why we suffered such loss's, maybe God will let us understand, perhaps our souls will be reunited. As our daughters breathed their last breaths, I prayed every day for them and my son, we loved them forever and never shall we be apart, together for all eternity. I so pray this shall be. For my husband, our children may God forgive is all and our souls be one.

I often wondered why God blessed me with a long life, while my loved ones passed to the light. Waiting for God to call me home. Maybe God knew what pain and loss my family would face. Maybe he kept me strong to support them during life's painful race.
